What if you could have a face-to-face conversation with God? What would you say to him? What would you ask him?
Perhaps you’d ask, “Why is there evil in the world?” Or, “Why do good things happen to bad people?” Or, “Why did [this particular thing] happen?”
Perhaps you’d ask, “If you’re real, why are there so many religions in the world?” Or, “If Christianity is true, why are there so many denominations?”
Perhaps you’d ask, “If you, God, are love, why are your people so unloving?” Or, “Why are all Christians hypocrites?”
Maybe it’s not a question so much as an objection to the Christian faith or something that’s written in the Bible. You might ask, “Can that be true?”
Perhaps you’d ask a question about science or sex or how the world is going to end. Maybe you’d ask a question we wouldn’t even think of.
Pastor Brian Watson is now preaching a sermon series that attempts to answer your questions. You can submit your questions by using the form at the bottom of this page. (Your question will be submitted anonymously. You’re welcome to include your name and contact information if you’d like, but you don’t have to.)
We may not be able to answer your questions, at least not fully. After all, we’re not God. But we do know what God has revealed to us. And we want to try to give you an answer, hopefully one that’s helpful. At the least, we want to know the kinds of questions people are asking so we can help them in relationship with God.
